Ward Roney Jr. VFW Post 7511 Auxiliary
The Ward Roney Jr. VFW Post 7511 Auxiliary is a veterans organization that serves the veterans and their families in the Monroe and Duvall communities. This non-profit organization is comprised of members who are close family relatives to veterans who have served in foreign conflicts.
Our Story…
The rebirth of our VFW Auxiliary 7511 began with informal meetings in the fall of 2018 in the Monroe area to sign up members. On January 6th 2019 the formal installation ceremony for the Auxiliary took place at the headquarters of the Everett VFW Post 2100 on Oakes Avenue in Everett. Our installation meeting took place 51 years after the installation of the original VFW Auxiliary 7511, which disbanded in 2015. The goal was to have a minimum of 15 members for our VFW Auxiliary affiliated with the Monroe VFW Post 7511.

The first regular monthly meeting of VFW Auxiliary 7511 took place on February 20th, 2019 at Cascade Community Church in Monroe. Our initial meetings were scheduled on the third Wednesday of the month, but we switched to having meetings on the first Thursday of the month with our September 2019 meeting.
Our Auxiliary members have been active participants in a number of local VFW sponsored activities, including helping with the 5K Run-“Flags for Our Fallen”-on May 18th, 2019 at Lake Tye Park in Monroe. Our aim is the same as the official VFW Auxiliary’s common purpose: “to improve the lives of veterans, service members and their families, and our communities”.
